Hi, I’m Ben Allan, and I’m your host on The 40 Year Old Fuckup!
We are all born with at least one superpower. Mine, as it turns out, happened to be making the wrong decision, time after time, and fucking everything up!
From my younger years, I was always the kid that came in too late and was left holding the bag. I could never pick my timing, spoke my mind too freely, didn’t listen and, despite my best intentions, always managed to do the wrong thing, to the wrong person, at the wrong time.
As I grew up, I worked hard at life – relationships, business, money, friendships – but never quite seemed to find that magic formula to make the whole thing work!
On my quest to right some wrongs, grow, become a better person and find new ways of dealing with life’s challenges, I host a series of conversations exploring other people’s biggest mistakes and fuck ups, how they have overcome them, what they would do differently, and dig for as much wisdom as we can from the people around us.
